What is Content Marketing?

It is a marketing technique that is focused on creating and distributing valuable or relevant or consistent content that can attract and drive the audience to make a profit for our business. 

In other words, we can say that content marketing is nothing but a step-by-step procedure of "Educating the Customers or users about our product or service.

Content can be different formats they are of Text, Image, Videos, Animations, Podcasts. It can be seen in all the techniques in Digital Marketing of SEO, SEM, SMO, SMM, Email Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Messages(Mobile Marketing).

Content marketing is a term named umbrella that covers a group of strategies or techniques and tactics to fulfill business or company and customer goals by using the foremost relevant content to serve, attract, convert, retain, and have interacting customers. Content is of using blogs, podcasts, video, and social media sites as a vehicle. It’s a practice now getting used by 86% of companies today. There are two types of Content Marketing - they are of Inbound Marketing and Outbound Marketing, a detailed explanation of those two types of content marketing were explained in below:

Inbound Marketing:

It may be a technique that can draw customers to products and services through content marketing, social media marketing, program optimization, and branding.

Outbound Marketing:

Outbound marketing or interruption marketing, in which we can promote a product via continued promotions, advertising, sales, and public relations. Which is considered as an annoying version of the normal or traditional way of doing marketing whereby companies that focus on finding customers through advertising.

Difference of Inbound Marketing and Outbound Marketing:

Inbound Marketing:

1. Pulls Interested users in
2. Solves Consumer's needs
3. Interaction with readers
4. Helpful content is consumed, audience members become leads
5. We can see it on websites, blogs, eBooks, opt-in emails, SERP, social media.
6. It is nothing but a Free Marketing.
7. Pulling the Customers by using attractive Title, Description, Posts - in order to buy / Purchase any product.
8. Focus mainly only Busines to Business / one to one.
9. Users will purchase our product by seeing our content/posts on our blog/website.

Outbound Marketing:

1. Written to sell products.
2. It's a one-way communication.
3. Disrupts whatever content is consumed
4. We can see this in TV Ads, billboards, pop-up internet ads, magazines, telemarketing.
5. It is nothing but a Paid Marketing.
6. Pushing to the Customer by using the ADs - these ADs can be seen by all the users who are in need and also who do not need the product.
7. Focus mainly on Business to Customers or one to many.
8. Interested users will purchase our product by seeing the ads on their mobile or desktop.
